Students apply previously learned data analytics concepts and tools to the solution of practical problems in a year-long project. This first part of the capstone sequence involves planning, design and construction of the project, including project demonstration, project specifications, report writing, and presentations.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Apply concepts and tools previously studied in this graduate program to the solution of real world problems in data analytics.
2. Identify and select an appropriate real world project and design a solution.
3. Work in interdisciplinary teams to apply data analytics techniques to address questions from various application domains
