Security concerns and best practices for cloud computing and cloud services; cloud computing architectures, risk issues and legal topics; data security; internal and external clouds; information security frameworks and operations guidelines.
As a result of completing this course, students will be able to:
1. Understand cloud computing architecture, service model, deployment modes and key security
concerns in public and private clouds.
2. Analyze security issues, risk implications and legal aspects regarding cloud architecture,
networking, data and services.
3. Understand key strategies and best practice for securing the cloud, apply the knowledge to
design both public and private clouds, operate a cloud and evaluate its security.
