The purposes of the CPR remedial course is to improve the development of and assure competence in the basic and clinical sciences, incorporating systems-, population-, and profession-based principles, with respect to cardiovascular, pulmonary, and renal organ systems and their interdependence; and, to serve as a prerequisite for the continuous application of these competencies in subsequent pre-clinical and clinical blocks in the medical curriculum. The course is online and self-paced, though the block director is available as needed.
