Introduction to the basic fabrication principles at the micro and nano scale; students practice and fabricate simple devices.
At the end of this course, the course outcomes are:
(1) The students will know the fundamentals of Micro and Nano-fabrications.

(2) The students will be able to appreciate the various design issues and tradeoffs of electronics devices manufacturing.

(3) The students will be able to apply this knowledge to new devices design problems with the context of balancing application requirements against technology constraints.

(4) The students will be able to understand current trends and future directions of micro and Nano fabrication of electronics and other devices.
(5) The Students will learn various basic machines for the micro-fabrication and being able to follow top industry various processing trends
(6) The students will learn Critical performance measures and benchmarks
(7) The Students will be exposed to various processing techniques and being able to understand the different technologies
(8) Student will learn the various applications of each technology processing and be exposed to the micromachining techniques.
(9) Students will get experience in designing workable device and building the device in the lab.
