Intermediate microeconomic theory; production and costs, market structure and pricing, risk analysis, and investment theory and capital budgeting. Students who receive credit for this course can receive credit for only one of ECON 6217 or ECON 6219.
1. Apply basic concepts of microeconomics to the analysis of organizational and market behavior in everyday business, policy, and other settings 2. Use simple algebraic expressions and graphical analysis to analytically express core economic concepts 3. Use economics within a framework of logical evidence-based analysis as a standard for articulating a thoughtful diagnosis of and solution to business and organizational problems.
