As a result of completing this course, students will be able to: 1. gain extensive knowledge of historiography, processes, and materials related to textiles from across the Asian continent; 2. critically analyze and evaluate primary sources (objects + texts) related to textiles and confidently situate those sources within larger body of related art historical and anthropological scholarship; 3. and create compelling written and oral arguments for interpreting a diverse range of Asian textiles.
