Through a combination of didactic information, peer discussion, and advisor discussions, students are trained to communicate more effectively the purpose, rationale/theory, and design of their proposed doctoral capstone.
As a result of the course, the learner will be able to: 1. Synthesize literature relevant to the problem addressed by the capstone project 2. Design a capstone proposal 3. Determine the appropriate forms of human protections 4. Design a plan for dissemination of capstone products.
