Introduction to the lithographic process and instruction in executing a lithograph from a stone. Materials fee.
• Students will acquire a working knowledge of matrix development: crayon, washes, and reductive image building.
• Students will have a working knowledge of both etching and printing processes.
• Students see and identify historical and contemporary printmaking images.
• Students will possess the ability to take image building concepts and transfer to other media.
• Students must be able to discuss their own work and the work of others in terms of concept, composition, and design.
