Second part of the BME 6994-BME 6995 practicum sequence.
At the completion of this two-course sequence, students should be able to: 1) Synthesize both the technical and regulatory aspects of biomedical device development and translation into the market, focusing on a particular example of medical technology. 2) Compile the necessary components, both technical and market based, for their chosen device into an application to a federal agency for either funding or 510K approval.
