An introduction to photo-plate lithography. Students take photo-based images and turn them into black and white and color prints using traditional lithography techniques and image building strategies.
By the end of this course students will have:
learned photo plate lithography
working knowledge of both etching and printing processes.
the experience of seeing contemporary printmaking images.
the ability to take image building concepts and transfer to other media.
the ability to discuss their own work and the work of others in terms of concept, composition, and design.
