An introduction to photo-plate lithography. Students take photo-based images and turn them into black and white and color prints using traditional lithography techniques and image building strategies.
By the end of this course students will have:
 learned photo plate lithography
 working knowledge of both etching and printing processes.
 the experience of seeing contemporary printmaking images.
 the ability to take image building concepts and transfer to other media.
 the ability to discuss their own work and the work of others in terms of concept, composition, and design.
