1. Identify the elements of design employed in a work presented to them. 2. Clearly articulate the effect that particular visual qualities found in a work exert upon the viewer through using the language of visual art. 3. Engage a work of visual art in the same expressive means of the visual art. 4. Engage in critical and theoretical dialogue with their peers and the instructor in a classroom setting and through a dialogical approach to the assessment of a work of visual art.
