Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies

The graduate certificate in  women's studies requires a minimum of 12 credits.

Required courses:
WSTU 6220Fundamentals of Feminist Theory
WSTU 6221Research Issues in Women’s Studies
The remaining two courses must be chosen, in consultation with the Women's Studies graduate certificate advisor, from graduate-level Women's Studies and relevant departmental courses that will support the student's area of specialization in graduate study (or their professional development interests for non-degree students). The courses selected should form a coherent program of study related to the student's academic goals, and must be approved by a Women's Studies advisor.
